Adjunct Faculty Hiring Process

Required Documents

 

 

The following documents are required for hiring adjunct faculty:

 

¨    Official copies of all college transcripts (graduate and undergraduate).  Please note: official transcripts must be presented in envelopes sealed and stamped by the issuing institution and in most cases, are mailed directly from the institution to DCCC.  If you have not requested official transcripts, please provide photo copies of transcripts in your possession and request mailings of official transcripts from all colleges you attended as soon as possible (see mailing address below).

 

¨    2 letters of recommendation (written by supervisors and/or colleagues who are able to discuss your teaching in relevant disciplines and related skills and written no more than one year ago).

 

¨    Your social security card (required for payroll).

 

¨    Your passport (expired or valid) OR your driver’s license/state ID card (the license/state ID card and social security card can be used in place of passport for completion of US Dept. of Justice Employment Eligibility Form).

 

¨    A voided check for initiation of direct deposit.
